Frequently asked questions about matching, coverage and billing

What does domainmatch actually do?

You upload a list of UK company names or domains, and we match each one against the other, using our own UK business database. You can go from company name to domain, or from domain to company name and city.

Will it match every row?

No, and we will not tell you otherwise. Match rates vary row to row depending on how the data is written and whether the company is in our database. We show you clearly which rows matched and which did not, and you only pay for what you upload, not for a guaranteed number of matches.

What is the difference between quick match and bulk upload?

Quick match handles up to 200 rows and gives you a result straight away. Bulk upload handles up to 150,000 rows, runs in the background, and emails you when your results are ready to download.

Do you offer a free trial?

The Free plan lets you match up to 250 rows a month with no card required, so you can try it properly before you pay for anything.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time, from your account settings.

What happens if I go over my plan's monthly allowance?

You will need to upgrade to a higher tier before running a job that exceeds your current plan's monthly row allowance.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit and debit cards via Stripe.

Where does the business data come from?

Our own UK business database, built and maintained by Emailmovers. It is not scraped or bought in for this tool specifically.
